The Barn Owl was perfect! Such a cute and cozy place. It was very clean and exactly as described. David was an excellent communicator. Would definitely stay again!

Mary

We had a great time. David was very helpful and responsive. Off the bat he let us know he would be as interactive as we wanted us to be and give us privacy if that’s what we preferred. We really appreciated that and the willingness to not be a floating host. The listing described the property perfectly and it really was comfy and cozy as it was made out to be. I will definitely be looking to book with David again, thank you!

Dylan

I stayed at one of Davis’s houses, the one bedroom bungalow in League City. It was very charming and clean, plus provided all comforts of home. The location was very quiet yet close to the main highways making travel to NASA, Museums, downtown Houston, and restaurants very easy.

Great private space in the woods. Was perfect for our fishing trip on Lake Fork. Super responsive host and unique experience.

Seth

David is very responsive and very easy to work with. The place was very clean and peaceful. If I ever need another Airbnb, I will definitely rent from David. It was a pleasure working with you. Thank You.

Cindy

Always my favorite place to stay in League City. Quiet and friendly neighbors. Pet friendly and plenty of places to eat and go shopping. Never a disappointment staying at the Charming Bungalow

Naomi Reynolds

We had a great stay and David was very helpful and responsive!

Rowan

Beautiful, quiet, calm and clean. Slice of the good life

Howard

David’s place was the perfect place to spend a peaceful labor day weekend. Park was walkable and even during the night I felt safe! I would stay here again and also check out his other listings.

Katherine

We had a great time, nice private location. We loved the pellet grill!

Erin

Super cute bungalow that is newly updated with modern amenities! WiFi was consistent, water pressure was strong and the air conditioning was phenomenal! Will definitely be back! Thanks David!

Glad you enjoyed your stay thank you for choosing us

David

Very cute Bungalow in League City. Very close to I45 and all kinds of shopping. The location and size were perfect for what my wife and I needed when we were displaced from our planned accommodations. David, the owner, was very accommodating with an early check in and went out of his way to let us extend our stay for a few days.

This was a pretty neat place close to a lake with a nice beach definitely recommend

Emily

The place was quiet, beautiful, and peaceful, which was exactly what we were looking for in a relaxing getaway. The kitchen and the entire place were clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved the fire pit and being surrounded by the woods. Being so close to nature made us feel relaxed and refreshed. There’s a Brookshire’s grocery store about a 10-minute drive away, and Lake Fork is only about 15 minutes away by car, which was very convenient. David was a great host, kind, responsive, hospitable, and always ready to help. It was such a lovely escape, and we would definitely love to come back!

Xiaowen

We had a great time here, a lot of places close by that are walkable. David was very quick with answering question we had.

Callie

David was great to work with and very communicative. Great peaceful spot in the trees.

Alan

David is a very responsive host. Any question we had about the property he answered it quickly and effectively. That made us much more comfortable in this new space. Having a good space is one thing, but having the host be extremely attentive and kind is another. We'd stay at David's other properties as well if the opportunity arose. Also, the space felt extremely private. No outside noise unless we wanted it, perfect for a getaway.

Rian

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, this is the perfect place. The property is absolutely beautiful, with acres of wooded trails to explore, and the cabins are cozy, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly comfortable. We loved the warm pine interior, the spacious deck for relaxing, and how quiet and secluded everything felt. The owner was one of the best hosts we’ve ever had. Communication was outstanding from start to finish—quick responses, clear instructions, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. It’s obvious David cares about his guests having a great experience. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend, and the peaceful setting made it easy to unplug and recharge. Whether you’re looking for a romantic escape, a weekend with friends, or just some time in nature, this place is a hidden gem. We left already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend!

David was awesome and his place felt like home. Highly recommended!

Patricia

It was a pleasure having you and I'll keep you posted on next week's dates that you had requested. Have a great week!

We really enjoyed our weekend stay. It was wonderful to be able to bring the dogs and let them explore the property. David was a great host who communicated clearly throughout our stay. The cabin was quiet, peaceful, and exactly what we were looking for. We’d happily stay here again.

Stephanie

So happy to hear how you enjoyed our unique and special place ! Would love to have you and the boys out again.

This is the second time we have stayed here! David is a great host. He is friendly, accommodating, and super quick to respond to questions or address anything that comes up. The bungalow is the perfect place for us to stay when visiting family in the area. We will be back!

Leslie

I enjoyed my stay felt just like home and a good location not had to drive far for stores

Lindsey

David’s cottage in League City was perfect for our small family and pup. Having read a recent review that mentioned a roach problem I was a little apprehensive but upon arrival we found an IMMACULATELY CLEAN INTERIOR. By far one of the cleanest Airbnbs I’ve stayed at. We did see a couple of dead bugs near doorways, but as David had just had the place treated that is to be expected and we didn’t not see any after that. I SAW ZERO EVIDENCE OF ANY TYPE OF LONG TERM ISSUE. David was very communicative for questions before our stay and accommodating alternative check-in/out arrangements . The backyard fence is very secure and if you travel with kids/dogs you know this is hard to find. We didn’t use the hot tub but it was clean and working. The fire pit is also very nice! I’m really glad I booked this place and hope to stay again during future family visits. Great location/great host/clean house!

Caley

Wish I wouldn’t have planned a whole day out at lake fork instead of really enjoying the space. David communicated super clearly and I had no issue finding his driveway with his instructions. Trees are marked all the way to the back. Arrived night one and lit a bonfire. He left matches and lighter fluid since I asked about firewood before arriving. Super thoughtful! So peaceful and quiet. Loved seeing all the quirks of the home like the hidden stairs to the upstairs bedroom. He gave recommendations for things to do in town but I already had an itinerary. The only thing listed that wasn’t there was shampoo and body soap. I’m sure if I would have asked they would have had some but I didn’t want to be a bother so I improvised with the hand soap from inside. I usually bring some with me but didn’t this time. Check out instructions super clear! Will definitely book again when I need some quiet from the city!

Evee

Evee, thanks for the feedback it is always greatly appreciated and we are committed to providing a 5 star experience. I have ordered new shampoo, body wash and conditioner. I had a mid term rental(5 months) immediately prior to your arrival and needless to say in the rush to get everything in order, that was an oversight. It has been addressed and resolved. Thanks again!!

This was a very great place to stay and the host was very nice and easy to get ahold of. Thank you for hosting us!

Emylie

David was super responsive and easy to work with. The place was very tidy.

we LOVED staying here and definitely book here again! the hot tub was amazing! david was great at communicating and got back to me very quickly!

Morgan

The host, David, was incredibly accommodating and responsive. We asked to check in a day early at the last minute and he was happy to accept our request as well as accommodate our pets. The upgrades made throughout the home were very nice and it was also great that each room had its own tv. This was my first air bnb and was a great experience. We needed a longer term stay while we were in between selling and buying our new home and this worked perfectly. I appreciate that the linens were fresh and clean when we arrived and that the home was well stocked.

Amber

David is such a great host. He checked Several times on us to make sure our stay was enjoyable. He is very responsive and always willing to accommodate his guests. The place is great and very peaceful. We found a clean and well organized house. The well equipped kitchen is a plus!

Guillaume

We had such a great stay and would absolutely come back! The space was exactly as described clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. You can tell a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome. We were in town for softball, and the location honestly made our trip even better. It was super convenient going back and forth to the fields, which made the days run so much smoother. There were also plenty of good food spots nearby, so grabbing meals between games or after long days was easy. Check-in was seamless, and communication with the host was quick and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a relaxing, easy experience and we’d highly recommend this place to anyone especially if you’re in town for tournaments or events!

Gabby

David’s place was absolutely perfect for what I needed! It’s unusual to have such a comfortable bed away from home, and I loved the private backyard and clean, spacious hot tub. Everything was just right! This will be my go-to spot every time I come back to League City.
