Very cute Bungalow in League City. Very close to I45 and all kinds of shopping. The location and size were perfect for what my wife and I needed when we were displaced from our planned accommodations. David, the owner, was very accommodating with an early check in and went out of his way to let us extend our stay for a few days.

The place was quiet, beautiful, and peaceful, which was exactly what we were looking for in a relaxing getaway. The kitchen and the entire place were clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved the fire pit and being surrounded by the woods. Being so close to nature made us feel relaxed and refreshed. There’s a Brookshire’s grocery store about a 10-minute drive away, and Lake Fork is only about 15 minutes away by car, which was very convenient. David was a great host, kind, responsive, hospitable, and always ready to help. It was such a lovely escape, and we would definitely love to come back!

Having a good space is one thing, but having the host be extremely attentive and kind is another. We'd stay at David's other properties as well if the opportunity arose. Also, the space felt extremely private. No outside noise unless we wanted it, perfect for a getaway.

The property is absolutely beautiful, with acres of wooded trails to explore, and the cabins are cozy, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly comfortable. We loved the warm pine interior, the spacious deck for relaxing, and how quiet and secluded everything felt. The owner was one of the best hosts we’ve ever had. Communication was outstanding from start to finish—quick responses, clear instructions, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. It’s obvious David cares about his guests having a great experience. David’s cottage in League City was perfect for our small family and pup. Having read a recent review that mentioned a roach problem I was a little apprehensive but upon arrival we found an IMMACULATELY CLEAN INTERIOR. By far one of the cleanest Airbnbs I’ve stayed at. We did see a couple of dead bugs near doorways, but as David had just had the place treated that is to be expected and we didn’t not see any after that. I SAW ZERO EVIDENCE OF ANY TYPE OF LONG TERM ISSUE. David was very communicative for questions before our stay and accommodating alternative check-in/out arrangements . The backyard fence is very secure and if you travel with kids/dogs you know this is hard to find. We didn’t use the hot tub but it was clean and working. The fire pit is also very nice! I’m really glad I booked this place and hope to stay again during future family visits. Great location/great host/clean house!

Wish I wouldn’t have planned a whole day out at lake fork instead of really enjoying the space. David communicated super clearly and I had no issue finding his driveway with his instructions. Trees are marked all the way to the back. Arrived night one and lit a bonfire. He left matches and lighter fluid since I asked about firewood before arriving. Super thoughtful! So peaceful and quiet. Loved seeing all the quirks of the home like the hidden stairs to the upstairs bedroom. He gave recommendations for things to do in town but I already had an itinerary. The only thing listed that wasn’t there was shampoo and body soap. I’m sure if I would have asked they would have had some but I didn’t want to be a bother so I improvised with the hand soap from inside. I usually bring some with me but didn’t this time. Check out instructions super clear! Will definitely book again when I need some quiet from the city!

The host, David, was incredibly accommodating and responsive. We asked to check in a day early at the last minute and he was happy to accept our request as well as accommodate our pets. The upgrades made throughout the home were very nice and it was also great that each room had its own tv. This was my first air bnb and was a great experience. We needed a longer term stay while we were in between selling and buying our new home and this worked perfectly. I appreciate that the linens were fresh and clean when we arrived and that the home was well stocked.

We had such a great stay and would absolutely come back! The space was exactly as described clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. You can tell a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome. We were in town for softball, and the location honestly made our trip even better. It was super convenient going back and forth to the fields, which made the days run so much smoother. There were also plenty of good food spots nearby, so grabbing meals between games or after long days was easy. Check-in was seamless, and communication with the host was quick and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a relaxing, easy experience and we’d highly recommend this place to anyone especially if you’re in town for tournaments or events!

Always my favorite place to stay in League City. Quiet and friendly neighbors. Pet friendly and plenty of places to eat and go shopping. Never a disappointment staying at the Charming Bungalow

The place needs some sprucing up. There were things that just looked worn. The shower had some mold around the edges. They used black sheets on the bed and that creeped me out because you can’t tell how clean the sheets are. Some things looked brand new like the bathroom vanity and kitchen. The neighborhood was ok.

We were notified on Friday that AC was not workinh immediate had my AC guy come out same day and determined that plenum was needing to ne replaced and since parts were not available until Monday we provided space heater as it was in 50's gave him $100 credit and plenum was replaced Monday.

Great little house for a quick business trip. Much more relaxing than a hotel. Walkable to places in the neighborhood and restaurants.

We loved staying at this adorable bungalow. It was so cool that the building is a historic train ticket station. It has been updated to be very modern with all the comforts of home. I enjoy staying here every time. Quiet neighborhood, charming bungalow, and walking and driving distance to Main St. Bistro and surrounding restaurants. His bungalow feels like home every time I visit League City. David is such a blessing and great person. He is always there if you need him. I definitely appreciate and recommend him. 

The place was great exactly like the post, house was very clean, smelled great inside bed was very comfortable. Tv had Netflix on it already. Neighbors was friendly.

Great and economical place to stay. Great location and very easy to access the property. I used the kitchen to make coffee and was able to wash clothes before I checked out. Would stay again!

Pros: The location was excellent as the NASA space center is only a few miles away, however downtown Houston is quite a distance away, and with traffic it may take you 45 minutes to get there. The kitchen is open and a decent size, has a gas stove, and a really nice sink and faucet. Cons: The host requests for personal information (photo of ID) on a website and to review and sign additional documents AFTER booking. I refused and AirBnB agreed this was not necessary. This is an older home that was poorly renovated as it has zero insulation. The home never got above 65F with just the heating system of the home, and I had to purchase a space heater to use while there just to be somewhat comfortable. There is no door for where the water heater is located. There is an RV trailer hooked up to the home in the backyard a few feet from the house, and it appears someone was in it. There are passing trains just a couple of blocks away, so it can get noisy. I would not stay here again.
